This is a linux command line reference for common operations.
Examples marked with • are valid/safe to paste without modification into a terminal, so
you may want to keep a terminal window open while reading this so you can cut & paste.
All these commands have been tested both on Fedora and Ubuntu.

System Inbuilt Monitoring tools:
top: this command show all information about process,
this command use more memory so avoide the command for log time use.  h for help z for change colour  n nice command k kill the process.
ps:
w:   Show who is logged on and what they are doing.

if you want to check the which port is open on the server you must use  netcat (nc) command

for particular port

discription of the option:

-v for verbose mode you can see the progress of scan
-r for randomize local and remote ports .
-w2 w for wait and 2 for 2 seconds between each port  scan
-z for I/O mode like: port [tcp/ftp]
-1-465 is port range.
